Sheets Sync is a personal utility that reads and writes data in a Google Sheets spreadsheet on behalf of the person who signs into it. It runs on a private server operated by the owner of this domain. It is not a commercial service and has no users other than those the operator grants access to.

What it accesses

Sheets Sync requests a single Google OAuth scope:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file — per-file access to Google Drive. This grants access only to files that the signed-in user explicitly opens with or creates through this application. It does not grant access to any other file in the user's Drive.

No other scope is requested. Sheets Sync cannot read the user's email, contacts, calendar, or the wider contents of their Drive.

What is stored

• OAuth tokens. An access token and a refresh token issued by Google are held on the server that runs this application, so it can keep working without repeated sign-in. They are stored solely to authenticate against Google's APIs and are not sent to any third party.
• Spreadsheet contents. Data is read from and written to the user's own spreadsheet, and is processed on that same server while a sync is running. It is not sold, published, or sent to any third party.

The server is operated privately by the owner of this application. There is no analytics, no advertising, no third-party tracking, and no user database. These pages themselves set no cookies and load no scripts.

What is shared

Nothing. Data is not sold, rented, shared, or disclosed to any third party. The only network calls made are to Google's own APIs, on behalf of the signed-in user.

Retention and revocation

Tokens persist on that server until they are revoked or deleted. The server is subject to routine operational backups, which may contain application data including tokens until those backups age out.

Access can be withdrawn at any time from the Google Account permissions page at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking there immediately invalidates the tokens and stops all further access, including any copy held in a backup.

Limited Use

Sheets Sync's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
